1998年的88風災，造成富山部落居民被迫遷村於大武村，興建永久屋居住。在國際知名油漆品牌贊助下，原本灰白斑駁的牆面且略嫌單調的社區，增添繽紛色彩，讓居民重新找到家的歸屬感。
駐足於極富童趣且為台東唯一的天橋上，可迎接清晨的日出、傍晚的燦霞；觀賞夜晚街區燈景，目送大武溪潺潺流入太平洋，感受微風徐來搖晃汪洋點點漁火。
Dawu Rainbow Wall & Lego Footbridge
The devastating 1998 Typhoon Morakot left the residents of Fushan Tribal Village to relocate to Dawu Village. However, thanks to the sponsorship of a world-renowned paint company, all the badly chipped old structures got a fresh coat of brightly colored paints, giving the community a sense of belonging.
The fun and vibrant colored Lego Footbridge is the only footbridge in Taitung. The top of the footbridge provides a great vantage point to catch the first ray of sunrise and the luminous clouds of dawn. At night, this is also a great spot to glimpse the village street lights and the water flowing from the Dawu River into the Pacific Ocean.
